Just more was never enough, and the bubble had to burst eventually. Seeking quality is the most efficient way to make life tolerable during long declines, and it's going to become the new standard as we adjust. Not only that, but art, itself, will change. Inherent virtue will replace the consensus stampede we call the market, and individuals will begin to buy art for the right reasons.
